The Chevrolet Colorado is the perfect pickup truck model for customers who don’t need extreme towing capabilities but would like to haul extra cargo. Powertrains
The base engine of the new Chevy Colorado is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. A 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine are also available for the Colorado, with the 3.6-liter V6 engine being the more-powerful engine between the two options. The 3.6-liter V6 engine in the Colorado produces 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. The Colorado’s 2.8-liter four-cylinder engine produces 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission and an eight-speed automatic transmission are both available for the Colorado lineup.
