Took truck in for creekng and squealing noise Techs couldn’t find it. Paid 175.00 fee to find no problem with truck

My car was taken for service right away. I expected it to take a couple of hours to do a diagnostic, but was updated within an hour that they found the issue, had the part, and would be done with it in about 45 minutes. So the whole thing was done in under two hours.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Bob Hook’s dealership. It was a 2017 Chevy Impala. I do understand that there’s no warranty, implied or otherwise, on my new purchase. That being said, it was almost immediately that I started seeing the tire pressure sensor light appear on the dashboard. I made an appointment to bring my car into the service center. When I arrived, I told them my issue and that I just bought the car. The service writer laughed and asked where I bought it. He stifled his laugh when I replied, ‘here’. When it was ready, I was a little taken back that it cost me another $160.00 for a car I purchased 412 miles earlier. (Yes, I told the service writer how many miles had elapsed.)
